After last years amazing effort raising £710 for Cancer Research UK ive decided to run this years Great North Run for the Huntingdonshire based charity Dreamdrops which makes a real difference to children and families who use hospital or specialist children’s health facilities.

Dreamdrops was set up with the aim of raising money to buy all those little (and large) extras that are not covered by NHS public funds but which make a hospital stay more comfortable - or less stressful - for children and their families.

The charity's work doesn't just stop at the hospital door, as funds are also used to help sick children who are being cared for at home.

Dreamdrops aims to make life a little easier, when it can be at its most stressful.

I'm also in the process of setting up a charity golf day, which will hopefully be staged in may. 

Any donations large and small will make a huge difference to children and families in the local area.
