Story
Hospices have suffered tremendously during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Dorothy House Hospice provides compassionate care and support for people in the community with life-limiting illness. Their focus is on quality of life, helping patients to live and die well. They cover an area of 700sq mile, which includes Bath & North East Somerset and parts of Wiltshire and Somerset. Their services are provided whenever and wherever they are needed; at home, in the Hospice, or at one of their outreach centres. They respect the uniqueness of each patient and their family, and empower them to choose the type of care they receive.
Starting on 1 Sep 20, me and Paul Freeman will be biking in a Dorothy House Hospice top (where suitable) from Land's End to John o'Groats.
If you want to join us for a mile, or for a day during the adventure, let us know. We are doing it over 18 days. Evening accommodation will be at Newquay, Chilsworthy, Sampford Peverall, Clevedon, Gloucester, Kidderminister, Newcastle Under Lyme, Lowton, Lancaster, Penrith, Johnstonebridge, Carstairs, Kinnesswood, Pitlochry, Avimore, Alneess, the North coast (somewhere) and after hitting John o'Groats, Inverness.
Any support will be greatly appreciated xx
