Hey guys!

My name is Ricky Harvie and I am 19 years old and currently on a gap year before I head to University in September. Now I really wanted to have a great blow out for me and my friends but I thought a big night out would be to obvious so I decided to try and think outside the box Then after much discussion with family and friends.. We have decided on attempting a cycle to Paris from London with friends to help raise awareness for our various charities. We have studied the route hard and after a lot of help from people via the internet, bouncing emails around and speaking to people I know we are going to attempt to cycle to Paris from London in 3 days covering a distance of over 250+ Miles. I have chosen Thames Hospice as my charity as they are very close to mine and my family's heart, they helped us greatly by providing my Nan with care beyond belief. As they are all volunteers this makes it all the more special and they hard work they provide is second to none. 

Thames Hospice - What do they do?

Thames Hospice are based in Windsor, Berkshire. They provide adults with care who have an illness which they are not expected to recover from. They are able to provide the care for the adults 24/7 whether that be at home or at the Community therapy Unit.
