Story
A large proportion of young males are often pretty terrible at dealing with negative emotions.
Internalising fears, anxiety, depression etc often due to the external societal norms and pressures to 'get on with it', 'not complain' and not wanting
to be a burden to the people around you. It's tragic how this can in some cases manifest to a point that individuals see the only way out is to take
their life. The Campaign Against Living Miserably is a fantastic cause and is doing amazing work in breaking down these barriers.
Myself (Ricky) along with Tony Rush, Max Ross, Louis Thrumble, Luca Rea, Oliver Babolol, Courtney Algar and Khan Karaty are taking part in our first 70.3
event in Kotor Montenegro which involves swimming 1.9km, cycling 90km and running 21km.
The Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) is leading a movement against suicide, the single biggest killer of men under the age of 45 in the UK.Anyone can hit crisis point. CALM run a free and confidential helpline and webchat 7 hours a day, 7 days a week for anyone who needs to talk about lifes problems.
