I am taking part in the Great North Run 2010 to raise money for Rainbows hospice for children and young people.

Rainbows provides much needed care and respite to many children and young people and their familes, and will soon be opening their new young people's building will will enable them to help more and more people.

It costs Rainbows £2.8 million each year to provide care for these children and their families. They receive very littlte government funding so rely on fundraising and donations, so every little helps.
