Story
This Sunday I am running the Manchester Marathon trying to raise some money for Whizz Kids.
As you know my oldest little monster Connor has Cerebral Palsy and epilepsy, but despite not being able to sit or walk unaided he's still just a cheeky as any other five year old.
He loves donkey riding, swimming, playing with his brother, and occasionally bike riding if we can borrow a suitable trke from somewhere which is very rare.
They have agreed to fund a special trike for Connor which will give him the support he needs and allow him to join in with his friends. Unfortunately their funds aren't unlimited and with so many children waiting for the right mobility equipment it is all dependant on when funds become available. So far he has been on the waiting list for 2 years.
There are an estimated 70,000 disabled children and young people in the UK waiting for a wheelchair that fits their young lives. That’s where Whizz Kids comes in. Whizz-Kidz provides disabled children with the essential wheelchairs and other mobility equipment they need to lead fun and active childhoods.
Please please please send this on to your friends and family and give whatever you can, every penny that is raised helps this fantastic charity and the very special children that they support
