On 11^th June. Richard and five friends, all over 40 years old, from the Wokingham area will set off on the annual RBS Caledonian Challenge near Fort William, Scotland. The challenge involves covering 54 miles with an overall climb equivalent to twice the height of Ben Nevis inside 24 hours.

Finding the time to train has been limited so the team will reach uncharted territory around 30 miles and from there onwards rely on determination to reach the finish line. The team consists of Richard Webb, Stewart Lambert, Jim Lambert, Paul Moore, Craig Hill, Justin Oxborough with Mike Gaut and Sanjeev Kumar as support crew.
