Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We have decided to go head to head in this half marathon in order to raise money for The Motor Neurone Disease Association.

For people who have never heard of it - Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that attacks the upper and lower motor neurones.

Degeneration of the motor neurones leads to weakness and wasting of muscles, causing increasing loss of mobility in the limbs, and difficulties with speech, swallowing and breathing.

The MNDA Provide care and support for people with MND and their carers, it funds vital research into causes, treatments and cure for MND and relies totally on voluntary donations.

Being able to help with this cause in any way we can is important to us so please donate as generously as you can any spare change, enough for a pint, whatev's. It'll all be greatly recieved by us.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
