Story
I've been an occasional runner for a few years now. I took up running following a period of mental ill-health a few years ago. It was a really tough time - and one I wouldn't have got through without the love and support of my family, friends and colleagues.
Over time I found that running regularly calmed my racing mind, keeping me mentally and physically well. But, I've generally stuck to running around 5k in about 30 minutes, only a couple of times running a longer distance - and never anything as long as a half marathon!
Recently I've found my mental health slowly deteriorating so I've decided to take on a new, ambitious, challenge...
I'll be running my first ever half marathon in Cardiff Half on October 2nd - and I'll be running for Mind who do so much to support people just like me.
I'd love you to join me on my training journey, and if you are able to make a donation to support Mind, it would be hugely appreciated.
Thank you!
Rich
