Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I will be running the Cardiff half marathon on 14th October and hope to raise around £500 for The National Autistic Society.
Autism takes many forms and effects thousands of people on a daily basis. NAS really do make a difference to peoples lives and provide amazing support and guidence to people who suffer with autisim and their families. Autism itself is a hugely misunderstood condition and dealing with its effects are a life long battle for those that suffer. Your donation will go to a great charity and provide real support, so please give generously and also spare a thought for my poor old knees that will be turning 40 next year and thought they had long since been put out to pasture.
I have been training for a couple of months now (though I have just had a week off) and hope the flat highways and byways of Cardiff will be no match for the mountain valleys training I have been undertaking for the last few weeks.
I know we are all bombarded with charity requests on a regular basis, particular those of you thinking of donating that know me through work, but please bear in mind how knackered I'm going to be and what a great charity I am supporting and thats got to be worth a fiver of anyones money.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now and thanks so much.
