I have often been ridiculed at school and college and have suffered from very low self-esteem. I have found it hard to make friends and I was lonely. Last year I joined Special Olympics Great Britain at the Wrexham Athletics Club and discovered that I was quite a good runner. This has made me feel much better about myself and I have made some great new friends.
