Hi y'all,

I am cycling from London to Paris as half of  a two man relay with Rob Clark, in just 24hrs. I don't mean we're going in 24 hrs, I mean that's how long we intend to take, getting from L 2 P. Are we mad (I hear you all groan) Well yes, enthusiasm certainly got the better of us when we signed up for this one !! We set off from London at 8am on 23rd July (to ride a minimum of 200 miles each) and all being well, arrive in Paris on 24th at 8am. Either on our bikes ....or in a box. If it's on our bikes (and we can stay awake) we might just catch the end of the Tour de France on the Sunday. If it's in a box, can someone place me near the end of the Champs Elysees and drape a banner over my coffin saing 'Come on Lance you old fossil'.
