EDF vows to help end the devastation of dementia. We aim to raise a whopping £300,000 through employee fundraising and £150,000 in additional donations, all supporting the cost of life changing dementia services and ground-breaking research.

Story

My father, a marine engineer who worked on the lightships and survey vessels setting out from Suffolk ports, has Alzheimer’s. I’ve experienced first hand the devastating effects of dementia on family and friends. I want to walk 26 miles along our beautiful Suffolk coast, home to four generations of my family, and make a difference.

Alzheimer’s Society are working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. They do this by giving help to those living with dementia today and by providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding ground-breaking research.Thank you for supporting this trek for Alzheimer's Society, together we can be help and hope to everyone affected by dementia.
