Richard's trek through the Jotunheimen Mountains of Norway

Deutsche Bank Norway Trek · 3 July 2019 to 7 July 2019 ·
In 2017 I trekked the Laugavegur trail in Iceland with some amazing colleagues from DB. We crossed ice fields, lava fields, waded through freezing glacial rivers and camped on lava and rocks. Collectively we raised over £80,000 for Autistica and Hope and Homes for Children - a staggering achievement for two incredible charities.
In July 2019 I'm off to Norway to trek in the Jotunheimen mountains, including the notorious Bessegen ridge, for Cure Leukaemia and Rays of Sunshine.
It goes without saying that I'm paying all my own costs for the trek. All sponsorship money goes directly to the charities - in fact Deutsche Bank is going to match all sponsorship pound for pound - so whatever you sponsor me - Deutsche Bank will double it!
The trek promises to be a real challenge in a truly breathtaking part of the world.
I think we all know someone who's life has been affected by Leukaemia. The work that Cure Leukaemia is doing is incredible. I've met first hand several patients who've quite literally been cured of Leukaemia (technically "in remission") through the work and research that Professor Charlie Craddock and the team are doing. Their objective is to have a cure for all Leukaemia's within 10 years. http://www.cureleukaemia.co.uk https://raysofsunshine.org.uk
I hope you'll support me and the charities with your sponsorship.
Thanks,
Richard
