I am very pleased to be running the BUPA London 10K Marathon on 31 May 2010 with a very close friend, Des Brown.

We have decided to raise money for Kidney Cancer UK as you may know, my Mum was wrongly diagnosed in 2003 and very sadly passed away, just two months later.

I believe that this charity is vital in helping to provide valuable information to Kidney Cancer sufferers and there families with any support they need at this difficult time.

Our original plan was to run the full London Marathon but we didn't get through the normal public ballot, which was a little disappointing, but in hindsight was probably best, as we were probably being a little ambitious!
