Hello Everyone, yes its me again. After Surviving last years race I'm back for more punishment in this years Great North Run 2008. My time last year was a respectable 2h 22m ( I was more concerned with surviving!!)

Last year was a fantastic success as I raised over £400 for Cancer research. This year, I am running to raise money for Cancer research Wales (90p of every £1 goes to Cancer Research UK, but the remaining amount goes to the development of treatment in Wales).

I have chosen this charity as shortly after last years race, my father was diagnosed with Lung Cancer and is being treated on an ongoing basis in North Wales. I am really passionate about giving something back and thought that this was the best way for me to help.
