I started running 3 years ago at the Age of 46 (apart from cross country at school many moons ago). It's been a bit on and off but having got a place in this year's London Marathon I really had to get down to serious training. 

I'm raising money for Clic Sargent, an organisation that helps children with Cancer and their families. I lost my brother Terry, nearly 5 years ago to Cancer and not a day goes by when I don't think about him. Whilst he suffered later in life, he still missed the fantastic retirement that he so deserved and left a permanent hole in many peoples lives. As I coach Lympstone Primary School running club, I decided to do what I can for Clic Sargent as my chosen charity. The school children are going to take part in a sponsored 2 mile run for me but I'd so appreciate friends and family just giving what they can on this website. This is my first Marathon and I'm challenging myself to quite a fast time (sub 3 hours 15 mins. but if it's hot that might not be achievable). I really appreciate your support, thank you!!!
