Trailwalker is an awesome challenge. It will test you and your team both mentally and physically. Taking on 100KM across the South Downs Way in 30 hours or less really is the experience of a life time. Organised with the Queens Gurkha Signals and raising money for Oxfam and The Gurkha Welfare Trust, this event is a unique opportunity to push yourself to the limit.
Tony Mattravers, our team leader found “Trailwalker”, an unforgettable endurance challenge who were supporting Oxfam GB and the Gurkha Welfare Trust.
It was set up by the legendary Gurkhas and is the ultimate physical and mental challenge, a 100KM trek non-stop in under 30 hours across the south downs way.
Oxfam work throughout the world providing humanitarian assistance and long term support to those most in need. The support they provide is invaluable to the people they work with.
The Gurkha Welfare Trust pays a welfare pension to 6,899 needy Gurka
ex-servicemen and their widows living in Nepal.
We are a team of four and have to motivate and encourage each other from start to finish.
Thanks for all your support.
Richard
