Story
Many of us will have experienced first hand the impact of dementia on family and friends. Many of us will sadly suffer with this ourselves in later life.
My employer, Invesco, has chosen DementiaUK as our Charity of the Year and when I heard we were doing a dog walking challenge, I felt this was perfect for me and my spaniel Molly to do our bit.
The target is to walk 100km with Molly in March. I'll keep you posted with my progress...
So help me raise some money for a great cause, get myself a little fitter in the process and make a dog very happy!
Any contribution is appreciated. Even just a couple of quid, it all adds up. Invesco will match all contributions so if you donate just £2.50, that will be made up to £5 and gift-aid on top will add more.
** Note: I originally set this up as a Facebook fundraiser, but have now moved to JustGiving to be able to link into Invesco's main page. The £180 received has been marked as offline donations here, and will go to the charity, with Invesco matching the amount . Thank you to all those who have donated so far**

I work at Invesco and we're proud to support our chosen charity Dementia UK. Dementia UK is the only specialist dementia nurse charity. There is no cure for dementia. But there is care. And care can change lives.
Thats why Dementia UK is here. Our specialist dementia nurses, called Admiral Nurses, provide life-changing care for families affected by all forms of dementia, including Alzheimers disease. This support has been needed more than ever throughout the pandemic which has left thousands of families isolated, bereaved and in despair. Every penny raised through our partnership will help provide a lifeline to those who need it.
