Story
My dad and I will be doing a walking challenge in August. We will be walking The Offa’s Dyke trail, which goes down the border of Wales and England. It is approximately 180 miles long and it we are aiming to complete it in 10 days. We will be carrying our own kit so hopefully the weather will be kind to us.
We will be raising money for Hospicecare in Exeter because they looked after my mum back in 2009 when she was terminally ill. The medical team provided and exceptional service and were a godsend to us during a very difficult time. We are also doing this because mum loved the outdoors and walking. When we do challenges like this, we can always feel her spirit is with us.
