Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My daughter Ruby was born with biliary atresia a rare, life threatening liver disease. It is the leading cause of liver transplants in children.

Ruby was diagnosed by chance when she was 5 weeks old and had life saving surgery just 2 weeks later. The diagnosis was made purely by chance at the Royal Surrey hospital and was missed by mid wives, health visitors and GP. The speed of diagnosis is critical to the outcome of the surgery.

I want to help the Children's Liver Disease Foundation raise awareness of the condition and how it can be diagnosed quickly, as well as continue the great support they give to families affected by liver disease.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
