Callander 90 Mile Sportive, 24 March 2013
We fund medical equipment and services to give our children the best possible care

Story

Last year my son Jack had a rare blood condition known as ITP.  He was rushed into RAH Childrens ward and given an emergency blood transfusion and we then had to attend hosptial on a weekly basis for 8 weeks so that he could have regular blood tests. This was a very distressing time, however one of the things that helped us through was the large selction of toys and games available in the childrens ward. We later found out that all of these had been donated to the hospital and i made a pledge that i would raise money for the childrens ward one day. Well that day is on 24th March when i will be cycling 90 miles in one day. I want to raise at least £500 for the 'childrens ward toy fund' so that any other parents having to endure the stressful experience of being in hospital with their little kids can have a small bit of rest bite, with the hospitals fantastic range of toys for kids of all ages.
