I am riding the lights at Blackpool Illuminations in memory of my brother David who sadly passed away in July. His family would like the MAGIC charity to become his legacy.
At his funeral it was said that 'he was the inspiration and the driving force behind all that the Intensive Care Service at Freeman Hospital, Newcastle, has been in past years and also that it has become today.' Part of that work involved setting up the MAGIC charity.
I will be cycling the 6 miles of Blackpool Illuminations on Tuesday 1st September, with all monies raised going to the MAGIC charity. Thank you for reading this and please think of me on the 1st.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Come and see Blackpool Illuminations shining this year from September 4th to November 8th.
