Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page, so why am I fundraising for Bowel Cancer UK?

11 years ago my wife was diagnosed with Bowel Cancer, one of the most common cancers in the UK. Following surgey and chemotherapy she came through her cancer (or her "personal alien" as she called it) and I am raising money for this important charity to help it to help others to come through as well.

For the second year running I am going to double up on the Great North Swim and Great North Run for my fundraising.
