We are raising funds for St Catherine's Hospice who are a local charity that provides specialised end of life care and support to people living in Crawley, Horsham,  Mid Sussex and East Surrey, and have been doing so for over 30 years.  The Hospice is a calm and serene environment where focus is not only on the patient but also on supporting their families, friends and carers.  They rely heavily on the support of local people, companies and trusts to raise £6million a year for them to continue to offer the high level of care they provide.

STCH believe that palliative care is based on a simple idea - that the patient is more than the illness. They believe each of us has unique, physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs. To The Hospice, the care they provide, both within the hospice itself but also within patients' homes, is about life - not death.

On Sunday 4th September, a team of rowers plus a drummer from RPD will take part in the annual Dragon Boating competition to raise funds for St Catherine's.  Whilst there are many events lined up for the day to make it a fun, family orientated event, everything we raise will go towards helping STCH continue its work. Please give generously.
