Story
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I'm raising money for the Trevor Mann Baby Unit (TMBU) because I believe babies deserve the very best chance at a great start to life.
My wife, Camelia, was born prematurely in November 1972 at the Royal Sussex Hospital and delivered by Dr Trevor Mann, who initially gave her chances of survival as 80-1. The care given by Dr Mann and the specialist nursing team, along with Camelia's own fighting spirit meant that she beat the odds and celebrated her 50th Birthday last year.
The specialist care unit for premature and sick babies, at the Royal Sussex, was later named after Trevor Mann to recognise the role he played in its conception.
Your gift to my fundraising page will help advance the care that these precious little ones receive by funding state-of-the-art equipment, environmental upgrades, advanced training for staff, and innovative research.
Thank you so much for your generous contribution.
