Many of you will know my father died of Alzheimers related illnesses.

All shortened lives due to any illness are cruel and unacceptable.

As an observation and I don't wish to offend anyone as we have all suffered a lost due to cancer.

However ten times more people will die of Alzheimers related illness than cancer yet research into Alzheimers cures is only a tenth of money spent on cancer research. To put it another way we're all ten times more likely to die of Alzheimers induced illness rather than cancer.

I like a challenge and I'm more than a bit mad so may need the above research more than most!!! After all it's only 100 miles in a day and covers the three highest hills in the south east of England!!
