We help acid attack survivors and campaign to eradicate acid violence worldwide

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running the Everest Marathon for two charities: Changing Faces - which helps people with visible difference in the UK; and Burns Violence Survivors Nepal - which helps victims who have suffered acid attacks, but also children and others who have been inadvertently burned. The Marathon organisers are letting me run so I can give the funding to charity; all the money you give will go to the charities concerned. Any donation, however small, will help. The way Just Giving works, I have to have one page for each charity - but it would be great to try to keep the totals roughly comparable. I'll also give money at the end, which should help me top up one or the other or both.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Acid violence is a particularly vicious form of premeditated violence, where acid is thrown usually at the face to disfigure, maim and blind, but not to kill. We provide medical expertise and training to 6 partner organisations, raise valuable funds to support survivors and help to change laws.
