We offer local care and support to those affected by life-limiting illness

Story

In September, I will be kayaking over 100kms in sweltering heat and humidity down the Zambezi river in order to raise funds for Forest Holme Hospice Charity, who have recently appointed me as a Trustee.

Forest Holme Hospice is an incredible organisation providing high quality and compassionate care for over 1000 patients each year. They care for people with all types of life limiting illnesses including heart failure, lung disease, neurological conditions and advanced cancer. NHS funding is limited and so the funds raised by the charity supports patients by providing additional care as well as helping families affected by bereavement. (https://forestholmehospice.org.uk/).

If you’d like to support me with my fundraising, I will personally match every £1 you donate for this great cause!

Thank you!!

About the charity

Forest Holme Hospice Charity was set-up to ensure that everyone in the local community affected by a life-limiting illness or bereavement gets the care and support they need, either at home or in our dedicated hospice facility. We need to raise £1M each year to deliver the highest level of care.
