After a short battle with Cancer my dad (David) died on the 20th July 2011 at home as he had wished.

We were only able to do this for him due to the support from the Macmillan charity whose staffs were able to assist in his 24 hour care by giving night support so we could sleep.

If you can help by sponsoring us to raise money for the charity it would be greatly appreciated.

 

The challenge:

On the 21st June 2013 we will play 4 rounds of golf in 1 day.
 
Each round usually takes about 4 hours so playing time in total should take about 16 hours.
 
We will start at 4:00 in the morning and plan to finish hopefully about 10:00 at night.
 
We will carry our own bags and the distance is about 20 miles (if we go in a straight line!).

 

I would like to say a personal thank you to Macmillan; you are wonderful people who are a great support both mentally and physically at this difficult time.
