Story

In May 2023 I have decided to take part in not one but two cycling sportives challenges, consisting of 212 miles in total. I will be riding in both events in memory of my mum Wendy Krause who lost her battle to cancer in 2007.

The first sportive will be on Sunday 7th May, where I will be taking part in the Fred Whitton challenge which consists of 112 miles around the Lake District starting at Grasmere and taking in climbs of Kirkstone, Honister, Newlands, Whinlatter, Hardknott, Wrynose and Blea Tarn passes. This is a very tough route with the very top riders being able to complete this in just under 6 hours (the average rider takes around 11 hours)

The second sportive is On Sunday 28th May 2023 where  I will be taking part in ride London -Essex 100 miles event. This event will see people from all backgrounds and abilities cover 100 miles on traffic free roads through the heart of london and neighbouring Essex

I have chosen to raise money for Macmillan this year so they can continue to provide the much needed support for the families that need it. Please support if you can ❤️
