Story
In November this year I along with 13 work colleague's, friends and family will be taking on the challenge and following in Sir Edmund Hillary's footsteps and re visiting the world famous Everest Base Camp. Our 17 day challenge will take us to an altitude of 18, 400 ft. when we climb the Kala Patthar which will give us breath taking views of Mount Everest.
The Welsh Everest BC Team 2018 are as follows
Richard Jenkins, Steve Williams, Andy Kent, Casey Thomas, Craig Thomas, Rob Livings, Keith Livings, Lee Biggs, Robert Jones, Paul Jones, Corey Jones, Brad Jones, Hywel Evans & Kyle Raubenheimer

After travelling to Mount Everest in 2008 & 2011 Steve Williams and
myself became aware of a group of Mt Everest trekkers who wanted to do something for the children of the Everest region. These children have to walk 2 to 3 hours each morning and evening, to and from dilapidated schools, so they formed a charity called Classrooms in the Clouds to improve and build accessible schools for the children of the region.
We are hoping with your help to add to this and raise enough money to provide all the student furniture and teaching resources at a new Classroom in the Clouds project at the 'Shree Sagarmatha School' in the village of Bung, The Himalaya, Nepal.

Our Employers "Eastman Chemical Corporation" (Previously Solutia uk) have very
kindly donated to Citc these past couple of years to such an extent that
we have an Eastman plaque which was erected at the 'Shree Majhguan Lower Secondary School' to show for our fund raising efforts. (Please scroll down to the Pictures below)
