Well I’ve got myself the most fancy bike money can buy (well within reason ... I didn't go completely crazy), its specially designed to get slightly chubby middle aged men up hills without too much huffing and puffing and a frame designed to limit repetitive tail end damage…(I'll be very annoyed if this turns out to be sales hype)..

The plan is to attempt to cycle from the western tip of Cornwall to the northern tip of Scotland for 'fun' and for ‘charridie’, so please sponsor me on my Justgiving page by clicking the Donate button.

The money goes to Above & Beyond who are a whole bunch of good eggs who help our hospitals do amazing things that there isn’t otherwise the money to do, like the funding of a surgical simulation room to improve the safety and efficiency of surgical training and big development projects such as refurbishing clinical and research facilities.

So lets hope my knees and other vital areas hold out!
