Story

Hi and thanks for visiting my page.

Ady Thurland is an old friend of mine, who I have had the pleasure in sharing some great times and memories over the past 50 years. In March 2017, Ady’s life changed when he fell from height and was left paralysed from the diaphragm down. As well as the fantastic support from his family, friends and especially his new wife Jemma, Ady has received some excellent support and guidance from the Rooprai Spinal Trust (RST). When Ady suggested I should consider running the London Marathon for such a great charity, I did not hesitate and contacted Andy Uttridge (RST Co-Founder) to express my interest, who thankfully accepted my application. Your kind donations will go a long way to supporting Ady and his chosen charity, as well as providing me with the fuel and motivation to get around this great British challenge.

I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations, whatever the amount.
