Starting on 19th June 2013, I am taking part in a 225km bike ride in France.  I shall be joining my colleagues at Cellular Solutions in cycling from Paris to Orleans via Fontainebleu to raise money for my chosen charity Marie Curie Cancer Care. In addition, through sponsorship from our company's clients, we are raising money for 9 local hospices and Sightsavers International. 

Having completed the last challenge we did in 2011, cycling from Hove to Paris, I know this challenge is not one to be undertaken lightly and I have learned from experience that padding in the appropriate places and good preparation is vital (two things I failed to appreciate last time!) 

I am personally raising money in memory of my Dad who sadly passed away in 2010 and is still sorely missed. For my personal fundraising target I am looking to raise £500+, so think of me putting in the miles of training and unable to sit down without a cushion for weeks, and please give as generously as you can!

Over the past few years the Cellular Solutions team have raised over £75,000 - so with your help this event will help take us over the £100,000 mark - with the aim of reaching £250,000 over the next four years from our cycling fundraising! 

Cellular Solutions will match like for like any funds we raise up to £5,000.  Every penny donated goes to charity and not towards the costs of the event thanks to sponsorship of the event by one of our network partners. Every donation will help make a significant difference to those less fortunate than ourselves.
