Story
We are sending a team from Parfetts to cycle over 240 miles in 3 days, climbing over 5,500 metres of Welsh mountains through Snowdonia and the Brecon Beacons. This is an insane challenge, especially for the one member of our team who has only been cycling for 3 months. So we’d love you to support us and help raise thousands for our industry charity and the great work they do.
GroceryAid support everyone in our industry when they need it, offering everything from financial to emotional and mental health support. Never before has this been so necessary after a pandemic and now through a cost of living crisis.
GroceryAid supported so many of our colleagues during the peak of the covid-19 pandemic. When most of the country had to work from home or went on furlough, those of us in the food business never faced more challenges than we have in the last few years.
From Brexit, to availability challenges, to managing ever more complex social distancing measures, record levels of sickness, massive queues, frustrated customers. The last few years has taken its toll on the food business and its colleagues.
Spending over £4.25m annually and supporting thousands of people in need Grocery Aid work in partnership with hundreds of supporters across the trade including multiple retailers, wholesalers, manufacturers and convenience stores and many more. GroceryAid can help with a wide range of topics including mental health and wellbeing, debt management, legal advice, family and relationship support and much more.
But GroceryAid can only continue this work if we support them. We are taking on a tough challenge – so please support us and, in doing so, support everyone in our industry by giving here
