Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. I am the chairman of University Hospitals Plymouth. I have been able to spend time with our wonderful staff in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, who look after the sickest and smallest infants from across Devon and Cornwall and the most fragile of babies born prematurely. Their devotion to caring for the babies extends to supporting parents, many of whom live many miles away, to remain close by. Babies can sometimes be with us for months, and I have spoken to lots of mums and dads who have explained just how important accommodation close to the hospital, enabling them to spend time with their babies has been.

Being able to take away the worry and expense at this most difficult and stressful time is hugely important.

Through the appeal we want to be able to offer accommodation to as many families as need it, and your donation will make a real difference to those parents whose babies who are critically ill and being cared for in the neonatal Intensive Care unit, thank you
