After more than 35 years working as a Medical Physicist in
Radiotherapy, I am retiring in September 2021.

I have seen many fantastic developments during my career, but
throughout that time, radiotherapy has remained an effective treatment for cancer, improving and extending lives.

Action Radiotherapy is the only charity dedicated to improving the radiotherapy services across the UK; supporting patients and professionals, promoting the needs of radiotherapy with government and raising the profile of radiotherapy as a safe, effective and cost-effective treatment option for treating cancer.

I am participating in the #Miles4Radiotherapy challenge as part of a team from Clatterbridge Radiothearpy. The challenge is to cover 10,000 km between us by October.

My contribution will be mainly on my bike, with a number of
events planned.
