Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

We are just two ordinary blokes with families that over a beer and reminiscing decided it was time to take action. Our midlife crisis triathlon is due!! We both lead busy lives working and being Dads and wanted a challenge so over a beer it was decided lets do a triathlon. Craig used to compete when he was a young whipper snapper and I have always just talked about it. So we have done a test swim to check we dont just sink. Craig survived I am a work in progress. So thats it let the training commence it will be interesting.

I asked Craig if he minded me making a Just Giving page as I wanted to contribute to the UK Alzheimer's Research after an amazing person Barbara Brophy lost her battle this year. We know times are tough so hopefully some dad bods in lycra will do the trick of entertaining you through the journey of getting ready for a triathlon in May 2022. Look out for regular updates.

The triathlon is 400m pool swim, 17km bike ride and 5km run.
