Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

2020 marks 10 years since my brother Tim ran the London Marathon so I've decided this is the ideal opportunity to run it myself (not done even half a marathon before!) and raise money for charity in the process!

As a build-up and because nowadays I'm more of a glutton for punishment than just a glutton (see red t-shirt picture in gallery!) I'll be running my first two half marathons and the Edinburgh Marathon as well! (He ran this in 2008);  St.Neots 17/11/19 and Great North West Blackpool 16/02/20,  Edinburgh 05/09/20.

All the above in scrum cap and tutu of course! (Tim was renowned for his rugby and dancing exploits - see clippings in photos!)

As you may know we lost Tim to cancer in 2011, so this is for that, and also for two people close to us (not to mention the many others) currently undergoing cancer treatment, and the lives lost to it.

Please help with what you can so I can achieve my pledged target, I'll concentrate on the long sweaty bit!  We can do this!

Thanks again, Richard
