Geoff Bowley died on the 11th January 2011 (aged 80).  He will be much missed by friends and his family.  The care and efforts to treat him were greatly appreciated but his prostate cancer had become aggressive and spread to his bones.

Without the cancer he was a very fit man and with further medical advances, a greater number will be treated effectively.
