In 2010 my Grandad died of Mesothelioma. This illness is a lung cancer caused by Asbestos. Grandad worked all his working life in Power Stations in various roles but it was as a young man that he came into regular contact with the Asbestos which caused this illness. From diagnosis to the day my Grandad passed away the Macmillan nurses were always there to support him and our family. I would like to raise as much money as possible as a thank you for their support.
