I am riding in the Norfolk Churches Trust (NCT) Annual Bike Ride on Saturday, 10 September 2022 and should welcome your financial and other support.

My sponsorship will be shared between the NCT (http://www.norfolkchurchestrust.org.uk/) and All Saints' Church, Chedgrave (http://www.chetvalleychurches.org/) to support their work.

The NCT protects many churches in Norfolk, which has the largest cluster of medieval churches in the world.  They contain a wide range of rare works of art and craftsmanship.  NCT grants have been vital to the future of many of these churches. 

Maintaining church buildings is also important because churches play an important role in their communities.  Local support and witness are essential parts of church life.  All Saints Church, Chedgrave is very active, benefitting many individuals, families, the local environment, and village life at large.  Indeed, All Saints recently provided an emergency place of safety for several dozen elderly people when our local care home had to be evacuated because of a fire.
