Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Together with 149 of my colleagues from Yorkshire Bank and Clydesdale Bank, I will be walking 26.2 miles along Hadrian's Wall from Carrawburgh to Lanercost Priory on September 18 2015, in aid of Hospice UK.

I have chosen to take part in this walk to help raise money in memory of my late mum, who received hospice care in her short battle with cancer in 2014. I want to give something back in thanks for the amazing work carried out by this charity and its partner organisations, as well as the fantastic staff caring for families dealing with terminal illnesses.

Last year I climbed Ben Nevis along with 93 of my colleagues and raised £850 which my employers fund-matched as they are an official corporate partner of Hospice UK. This year I hope to beat that total which will again be matched by Yorkshire Bank.
