RAF Central Fund Myzone Community Fundraiser, 2 October 2020
To mark National Fitness Day the RAF Central Fund has set up a Team Challenge for members of their Myzone community to reach a target of 12,000 Myzone Efforts Points (MEP) over two weeks.

Story

The Royal Air Force (RAF) Central Fund is an independent charity that supports serving RAF personnel through grant funding to enable them to take part in sports and physical activities at all levels. They want everyone in the RAF regardless of their role, rank, physical ability or competing level to have access to sports facilities, equipment, and training and through our support we help to safeguard their health and wellbeing. In May this year, the RAF Central Fund (RAFCF) teamed up with Myzone to deliver more than 1,500 Myzone heart rate monitors to serving RAF personnel during the Covid-19 lockdown. The initiative was a big success, uniting serving RAF personnel through exercise at a time when team sports were on hold and Station gyms were closed. To raise funds for the charity which supports the health and wellbeing of Serving Personnel I will be contributing my red and yellow Myzone Effort points over the next two weeks towards the team's set target of 12,000 MEPs!
