WE DID IT!!!!
"Children are our most valuable natural resource. " (Herbert Hoover)
And I believe we all agree that “Children are the future”! If you believe in it... please join me in helping their future as well as ours!
Save the Children - a very well known UK charity - aims at improving the lives of poor children in the world. Next June 2011, myself and 35 Reckitt Benckiser colleagues from different countries will be part of the 3rd Reckitt Benckiser Global Challenge for Save the Children where we will trek for 71km over 5 days in Chapada Diamantina Park in Brazil.
The purpose of this event is to raise funds for specific projects aiming to improve the lives of very poor children in Brazil, Angola, Tanzania and India.
Not a small endeavor… and as such let's set ourselves a big target: raising 25 000£ for Save the Children charity! The largest amount ever raised in the history of the RB Global Challenge for Save the Children!!
This amount would be enough to ensure the safe and healthy delivery of more than 750 babies!!
To achieve this ambitious target, every small contribution COUNTS and does have a GREAT IMPACT!
Bellow you can find several examples of how your contribution can help:
£50 - Will buy equipment for a School to give students the best education.
£30 - Will buy a water filter - provide for one of the most basic of human needs, clean water.
£20 - Will buy a family food basket with the essential foods they need for a month.
£10 - Will buy a pair of shoes for a child.
£5 - Will vaccinate one child to protect from childhood diseases.
I am very excited to be part of this challenge and to support such a valuable cause…
Let’s start TODAY making a difference. ALL collected money goes directly to Save the Children.
Thank You for your generosity and making the difference!
