Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

around two years ago I started experiencing severe headaches these were
completely random but at the time I told myself to man up and would
remember telling myself "its only a headache , get on with it!"
eventually I ended up seeing the doctor around a year ago who initailly
thought I may have sinusitis / or an ear infection he prescribed me some
nasal spray to start off gave this a go for several months before I
started getting headaches that were at this point deabilitating , lying
down for more than a few hours would cause severe headaches so in the
end I was going to sleep with headache and waking up with a worse one,
at this point my doctor decided to refer me for a scan at the local
hospital the MRI result was back the next day more tests and another MRI
scan this time with "Contrast Dye , this showed the team looking after
me the size of the tumour at 4.5cms however the good news was it was
thought to be benign the bad part being that it was putting pressure on
my optic nerve and that was thought to be the cause for my headaches and
nausea. After a few days I was told to report to the QE in Bimingham
where I would repeatedly go for many tests and where I would also meet
the surgery team Dr. Georgios Tsermoulas, I got
to meet this man on my thrid visit to the hospital where he briefed me
in front of his team discussing the operation this was the pre op scan
in March 2021 as you do I searched his name on google and found a very interesting result , this man had travelled to Gaza in 2019 to aid a neurosurgery team and completed a number of sucessful operations helping to save lives theres also.

I eventually got called in for the operation to take place on 23/11/2021 I remember waking after the operation and hearing the Surgeon say the operation went better than anticipated when I demanded his details to send a gift he referrred me to this charity.

This is the reason why I am asking for your help in raising money for a charity that will give back to great causes at one of the UK's most important NHS hospitals
