I decided to challenge myself to run the Great North Run in 2020 but due to the pandemic I will be running this year.

I have chosen to run it for Meningitis Now. The charity funds research projects to find new, and enhance existing vaccinations and supports families devastated by meningitis. I have seen first hand the effects of meningitis. In 2012, at the age of 11, a close friend, Marshall, was sadly taken away from us as a result of Meningitis and this had devastating effects on his family. 

As Meningitis Now depends on voluntary donations I am aiming to raise £300+ to aid their research and support of other families affected.
