We completed the Snowdon climb in about 5 hours. Thank you to everyone for your donations and to everyone who attended or helped in some way. I'm a very proud man. You can still donate for the next few weeks. Rhys :D
My name is Rhys Llewellyn and I am 26. I received the gift of a heart transplant on 29th October 2011. Myself, family, friends and my fellow transplant friends are going to climb Mount Snowdon on 14th July 2012 to raise money for BHF and also in memory of Donna Mansell and Bill Proctor. My brother Carwyn has also just had a aortic valve replacement on 29/6/12 aged 23.
In the months before my operation I could hardly walk a few steps let alone climb a mountain. My aim is to raise awareness for organ donation and to raise as much money as possible for BHF.
I would also appreciate it if you would seriously consider joining the organ donor register by visiting http://www.organdonation.nhs.uk or phoning 0300 123 23 23. It takes no more than 2 minites!
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
