Story

It’s been one of my long-term dreams to run a marathon, so I have decided to sign up to the Worcester Marathon on 22nd May 2022 and the London Marathon on 2nd October 2022 in aid of Guide Dogs.

My grandad sadly passed away at the beginning of 2021, but in the preceding 6 months, he experienced sudden complete visual loss. This had a profound impact on how he was able to live his life and experience the world.

Those who know me will know of my love of dogs, particularly golden retrievers. Therefore, I am running in memory of my grandad to raise money for Guide Dogs. This will help fund the process of training and providing a fluffy companion to help those not fortunate enough to have complete vision to navigate the world.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page and I greatly appreciate any donation you can make. Wish me luck!
